If you, your team or any of the people around you would like to learn more about how to make your organisation more young people friendly in and around the world of volunteering, then join us for a highly immersive and interactive online workshop with lots of practical takeaways designed to ensure your organisation attracts and retains the young volunteers you're looking for.
Funded by The Scottish Government, these sessions are for everyone interested in improving youth participation in their organisations, everyone is welcome!

How many “Welcoming young people as volunteers’ workshops do I need to attend?
The training is designed to be delivered as 1 single workshop only. For your convenience there are 3 dates to choose from.
I've attended a workshop already can I attend again?
Yes, no problem.
What is the community of practice & how many should I attend.
We are building a dynamic, flexible and supportive community focused on creating the best possible conditions for young people to learn, develop and grow through volunteering opportunities. Join colleagues from across Scotland to share practice, ideas and resources. You should attend as many of the Community of Practice events as you can.
Can I book multiple spots for my colleagues?
Yes, but please make sure you all turn up!
How much does the training cost?
The training is free thanks to funding from the Scottish Government.
What video conference platform will the training be on?
We use Zoom as a platform because it gives the best learning environment. If you want to book a full session for your own organisation we can use alternative platforms (Teams etc)
